Warehouse worker

Are you a highly motivated and experienced warehouse professional ready for a dynamic role? We're seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Appleton client’s busy team, supporting the operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This position involves working a significant portion of the time (approximately 50%) in cooler and freezer environments, so the ability to work comfortably in cold conditions is essential!

Job Location –  Appleton, WI

Starting Date –  ASAP

Employment Term –  Temp to hire

Employment Type –  Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay – $18/hr

Required Experience –  At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment:  Accurately pick, pack, and fulfill online customer orders.
• Shipping & Receiving:  Assist with all aspects of shipping and receiving freight, ensuring smooth flow of product.
• Product Checking & Inventory:

• Check in incoming products for accuracy and quality.
• Weigh and count products for inventory tracking.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Ensure all products are correctly labeled and stored.

• Operational Support: Perform general warehouse cleaning and organization duties to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Qualifications 

• Forklift Expertise: 12+ months of recent, verifiable experience operating a forklift.
• Warehouse Experience: 6+ months of general warehouse experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort in Cold: Ability to comfortably and safely work in cooler and freezer environments (approx. 50% of the time).
• Attention to Detail: Excellent focus on accuracy when counting, weighing, and checking in products.
• Team Player: Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
