This position is responsible for assisting and leading the Operations team in the oversight of clinical trial and biological sample inventory, including monitoring, picking, and storage activities. The role ensures that all materials are maintained in compliance with required storage conditions and accurately recorded in CCSM’s inventory system. This position is required to be on site in Malvern, PA.

Your role at Clinigen :

  • Act as team lead to operators by coordinating and directing the day-to-day tasks
  • Supports the Operators by sharing knowledge, skills and information related to the tasks and requirements of the position
  • Organize priorities within the department for the assignments to be performed
  • Interact directly with Project Managers for customer needs and attend meetings as applicable
  • Monitor the temperature of the storage systems to ensure they remain within requirements and inform management as applicable
  • Ensure the freezers are in good working order and organize preventative maintenance as appropriate
  • Ensure there are clean work areas
  • Partners with other members of the Operations Department to address and resolve concerns prior to shipment 
  • Learns and adheres to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and CSM’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry 
  • Experience working with temperature monitoring systems
  • Familiarity with IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations 
  • Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), or Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift
