Production Supervisor - Third Shift and Weekend Night Shift available

Location: Bosch – Anderson, South Carolina

Schedule

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend Night Shift: 5:00PM-5:00AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor leads shop floor associates in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives within the finishing department at the Bosch Anderson facility. This role oversees production operations on shift and ensures manufacturing processes run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production associates to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Manage production and personnel activities on shift including training and performance management.
• Coordinate production schedules to support customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor shift performance against KPI targets and respond to production or equipment deviations.
• Communicate expectations and performance feedback to employees.
• Ensure quality standards, procedures, and work instructions are followed.
• Collaborate with technicians regarding equipment performance and production priorities.
• Support productivity and cost reduction initiatives.
• Assign personnel responsibilities to maximize efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate production reporting and monitor operational metrics.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between shifts.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (2-year) or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of safety policies and quality systems.
• Ability to recognize production losses, analyze line performance, and address performance issues.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods such as PDCA.
• Ability to mentor and lead teams in problem-solving processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
