About Us

The Food Truck Hub & Event Experiences is a fast-growing experiential event planning and production company specializing in curated food truck activations, corporate events, brand experiences, and hospitality-driven gatherings.

We partner with innovative companies, hotels, planners, agencies, and corporate teams to transform spaces into seamless, high impact experiences.

Our events are logistics heavy and hospitality focused. We pride ourselves on strong vendor relationships, operational excellence, and delivering thoughtful client experiences.

We are looking for an Operations Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing moving pieces, and is passionate about helping execute exceptional events.

The Role

The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in strengthening venue and vendor partnerships, managing event logistics, and ensuring smooth event execution.

This role blends relationship development with operational oversight. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building connections with venue teams as they are managing complex event logistics.

Success in this role means building venue partnerships, preparing events thoroughly before event day, and ensuring smooth execution when events go live.

Key Responsibilities

Venue & Industry Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with venue teams, planners, and industry partners

• Conduct venue visits within the local market to strengthen partnerships

• Develop relationships with venues in out-of-market locations through calls, virtual meetings, and potential occasional travel

• Represent the company at industry networking events, trade shows, and partner gatherings

• Maintain ongoing relationships with vendors, hospitality leaders, and event professionals

Pre Event Planning & Logistics

• Lead vendor coordination and logistics planning for upcoming events

• Confirm permits, insurance certificates, timelines, load-in schedules, and compliance requirements

• Collaborate with clients to finalize event flow and operational details

• Identify potential logistical challenges and proactively solve for them before event day

• Ensure all vendors, partners, and internal teams are aligned prior to execution

On-Site Event Management

• Lead operational oversight for select events

• Manage vendors and on-site teams to ensure timelines and service standards are met

• Serve as the primary operational contact during select live events

• Troubleshoot issues in real time while maintaining a calm and professional presence

Post Event Relationship Building

• Conduct post-event follow-ups and wrap-up tasks with clients and vendors

• Gather feedback to strengthen long-term partnerships

• Maintain ongoing relationships with venues and vendors

• Document operational insights to improve future events

Why You'll Love Working Here

• Work in an autonomous manner, empowered with decision-making responsibilities

• Have a meaningful impact on the company

• Gain exposure to event production, logistics, and client strategy

• Every week looks different, from planning meetings to live event execution

• Flexible hybrid work environment

• Collaborative and entrepreneurial team culture

• Opportunity to grow alongside a scaling company

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary; target range based on experience: $60,000 - $90,000

• 401(k) savings plan with company match

• Opportunity to participate in company healthcare plan

• Paid time off

• Professional development and networking opportunities

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months

In this role, success will include:

• Building strong working relationships with key venue partners and vendors, which translates to being listed as a preferred vendor

• Successfully managing logistics and execution for multiple events, which leads to 5-star reviews

• Strengthening communication and coordination across event stakeholders

• Contributing to smooth event execution and positive client experiences

• Expanding our network of venue and hospitality relationships, which may lead to growing followers on LinkedIn

• Ensuring events run smoothly with strong operational oversight

• Helping improve internal organization, event readiness, and follow-up processes

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in event production, venue management, hospitality, event operations, or a related field

• Strong relationship building skills and ability to connect with industry professionals

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience coordinating with vendors, clients, and venue teams

• Experience building Run of Show documents

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail oriented with the ability to stay calm in fast-paced environments

• Comfortable attending networking events and occasional evening or weekend events

• Ability to travel locally for venue visits and events

• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience working with caterers, venues, or other event-related companies

• Familiarity with permitting and compliance processes
