Since 2019, we’ve developed a strong reputation in both criminal defense and civil litigation. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Operations Manager who will take ownership of the firm’s internal engine and ensure everything runs efficiently, consistently, and professionally.

This is not a passive role. This is a leadership position for someone who wants to build, improve, and own operations across the firm.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and long-term improvement of firm operations, including financial oversight, HR coordination, systems management, and office infrastructure.

You will be the central point of accountability for how the firm runs internally.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Operations

  • Oversee all office operations, including supplies, equipment, maintenance, and security
  • Manage firm calendar systems, conference room scheduling, and internal logistics
  • Maintain organized, compliant records systems with strict attention to confidentiality
  • Ensure the office environment is consistently clean, professional, and client-ready

Financial Management & Billing Oversight

  • Assist with invoicing and financial organization
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable and monitor billing and collections processes
  • Support client accounting and ensure invoices and collections are handled properly
  • Coordinate payroll and benefits administration

Human Resources & Team Management

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard attorneys and staff
  • Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes when needed
  • Oversee team scheduling, PTO tracking, and coverage planning
  • Help maintain a strong, accountable, and positive office culture

Technology & Systems

  • Manage and improve firm systems, software, and operational workflows
  • Coordinate with IT vendors for troubleshooting, upgrades, and implementation
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively implement better processes

Policies, Procedures & Compliance

  • Develop, refine, and enforce internal policies and SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and operational standards
  • Continuously improve workflows to increase efficiency and reduce friction

Marketing & Events Support

  • Assist with firm marketing efforts, including website updates and social media coordination
  • Support client outreach initiatives and brand consistency
  • Plan and execute internal events, team functions, and client-facing events

Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors (IT, office services, contractors, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost control

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations or office management (legal or professional services preferred)
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to execute and follow through
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
  • Proficiency with office systems, technology, and process management
  • Clear, direct, and professional communication skills
