Job Description

The Role

In this role, you’ll be the driving force of our marketing efforts as Autograph Homes launches and carves out a unique position in the Houston homebuilding market. You’ll get to work with our internal leaders, our own growing team, and our external creative marketing team to design and implement our marketing efforts (digital/CRM, social, events, partnerships, PR, etc.).

 

You are highly motivated, think creatively, are passionate about storytelling and building partnerships with developers and home shoppers alike. You’ll contribute to strategy sessions and use your strong writing, basic graphic design and digital marketing skills to help Autograph Homes become the builder of choice for Houstonians who want a different – and better – experience.

 

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy Development & Campaign Implementation

  • Contribute to planning sessions and generate creative ideas for content marketing campaigns for the Autograph Homes brand.
  • Assist in the development of our Brand Guidelines and ensure all internal and external marketing and communications comply with them.
  • Work with our marketing/creative agencies to create ads, brochures, floorplans, direct mail, email marketing, and signage, including managing internal edits and final approval.
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral and manage all collateral inventory.
  • Coordinate and maintain marketing library, including photos, video, logos, and design templates.
  • Coordinate and help produce RFPs including award submissions as required.
  • Occasionally write copy for newsletters, ads, website, etc.

 

Digital Content Management

  • Manage all website content updates and additions.
  • Develop and implement a digital strategy for the Autograph Homes brand and our individual communities.
  • Create a website audit process to ensure accuracy of our online presence.
  • Create social media content including writing blogs, social posts, interacting with customers on social media and adding weekly content to our platforms.

 

Event Management

  • Coordinate all event logistics including space planning, food and beverage, décor, attendees/RSVPs.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure clear communication, agenda/schedule and responsibilities.
  • Manage the event budget with final approval from the President or Sales Manager.
  • Attend events as required and be the on-site contact for direction and coordination of vendors.

 

Signage

  • Direct signage vendors in the production, placement, installation and dismantling of all signage.

 

Communications, Outreach & Media

  • Stay current with media opportunities, build relationships with media reps and have a strong understanding of distribution, impressions, reach, target market and various media sources.
  • Research and recommend new media opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with third party development partners and competing builder marketing teams.
  • Assist sales team in developing CRM templates.

 

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage our marketing budget; process and track invoices according to established guidelines.
  • Manage and organize all marketing related estimates, expenditures and in process payments.

 

Research & Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive builders, communities and home and consumer trends.
  • Assist with research projects, including quantitative studies and surveys, focus groups and primary research.

 

Performance & Reporting

  • Define and track key marketing metrics including traffic, leads, and conversions across communities
  • Analyze campaign performance across digital, social, events, and website, and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to leadership and development partners

 

Community Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute marketing plans at the community level based on stage (coming soon, model open, inventory push)
  • Align messaging, timing, and budget allocation with sales goals and community timelines

 

Sales Alignment & Traffic Generation

  • Partner closely with sales team to drive qualified traffic to model homes and increase appointment volume
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve walk-in traffic and on-site engagement
  • Support the on-site experience through signage, activations, and promotional efforts

 

Brand Voice & Positioning

  • Own and maintain the Autograph Homes brand voice across all channels
  • Review and refine messaging to ensure it stays clear, consistent, and distinct from typical builder marketing

 

Community Launches

  • Lead marketing efforts for new community launches, including positioning, messaging, and rollout strategy
  • Coordinate timelines across teams to ensure successful openings

 

Partnership & Developer Coordination

  • Collaborate with developer partners to align marketing strategy and community positioning
  • Present marketing plans and performance updates to external stakeholders as needed

 

Customer Journey

  • Evaluate the full customer journey from first touchpoint to model visit
  • Identify gaps and implement marketing solutions to improve engagement and experience

 

Lead Generation & Digital Infrastructure

  • Oversee lead generation channels including website, CRM, and third-party listings
  • Ensure accuracy and optimization of online listings, feeds, and digital presence

 

Miscellaneous

  • Coordinate photography as required.
  • Manage the model home decoration process.
  • Serve as primary contact for third party design center representatives.
  • Assist in the selection and approval of model home and inventory selections.
  • Provide marketing support for business-to-business presentations.

 

Position Requirements

  • Three years of homebuilding marketing experience preferred
  • Completion of a Diploma or Degree in marketing, business, event planning or similar.
  • Experience writing and editing marketing copy.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and a technical aptitude to learn new or customized programs quickly.
  • Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress, and proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple agencies, consultants, suppliers and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; creative and approachable with clients, the media, the public and colleagues
  • A self-starter with a high-energy personality who loves being part of an entrepreneurial team while getting the job done.
