Job Description

A well-established organization is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its team. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, this individual will collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support audit activities across multiple benefit-related programs and affiliated entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits of various benefit and compliance-related funds
• Review financial records, including books, ledgers, and supporting documentation maintained by third parties
• Analyze data, identify trends, and develop audit findings and recommendations
• Prepare audit schedules and detailed workpapers
• Partner with external parties during audit engagements and fieldwork
• Participate in hearings or proceedings related to audit findings, as needed
• Conduct both in-office and field-based audits at various locations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 2+ years of internal or external audit experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit standards
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
