Job Description

Geologist, Engineer, or Environmental Scientist

Ford & Associates, Inc., a Honolulu based environmental consulting company is seeking a geologist, engineer, or environmental scientist. Our technical services include environmental due diligence, soil and groundwater investigations, and remediation oversight and management. In this position, you will perform field activities including soil and groundwater investigations, oversight of drilling and monitoring well installation, management of remediation activities, and project management including report writing and editing.

Qualifications

  • BS in geology, engineering, science or related degree, advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
  • Experience with conducting and implementing environmental investigations and/or remediation
  • Experience with regulation interpretation, technical guidance, and sampling protocols
  • Ability to succeed in fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel to client project sites
  • Communication, both verbal and written of technical information
  • Ability to work efficiently both as a part of a team and independently
  • Professional certifications, familiarity with Hawaii state and federal regulations are a plus
