This route focuses on dedicated freight with predictable scheduling and repeat customers. Drivers run within a regional operating area while staying on consistent lanes that help keep miles steady from week to week. Freight unloading is required for this account using a u-cart, and drivers should be comfortable handling heavy boxes throughout the shift.
Drivers operate newer Freightliner equipment with automatic transmissions, and optional APUs and 1500-watt inverters are available for additional comfort on the road. Trucks are maintained regularly to help reduce downtime and keep drivers moving.
Paid orientation lasts 3 days and may be completed virtually or in person depending on preference. LEM Trucking provides hotel accommodations during orientation along with covered travel expenses. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and vacation pay.
