Carpenter – Juneau Project (Per Diem Available)

Compensation: $30+ per hour (DOE) | Weekly Pay

Criterion General, Inc. is seeking experienced Carpenters to support an active project in Juneau. This is an opportunity to work with a contractor that has built a reputation across Alaska for delivering complex projects with precision, quality, and strong team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute work based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform layout, framing, structural work, and finish carpentry
• Install doors, windows, drywall, cabinetry, stairs, and other fixtures
• Support project planning, layout verification, and material coordination
• Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Work collaboratively with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results

Qualifications

• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent field experience
• Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Proven ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment
• High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Physically capable of working in demanding construction environments
• Dependable and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

• $30+ per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly payroll
• Per diem available for qualifying travel assignments
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance (75% employer-paid)
• 401(k) eligibility after one year
• Sick leave per Alaska statute
