Art Consultant – Vinings Gallery

Location: Roswell, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Base + Commission

About the Role

Vinings Gallery is seeking an enthusiastic Art Consultant to join our team. The key objective of this position is to achieve and exceed sales goals while providing an exceptional experience for every guest. Our Art Consultants are passionate about art, skilled in relationship building, and dedicated to helping clients find pieces that inspire and personalize their spaces.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and positive gallery experience that reflects company values.
• Develop new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing ones.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals through exceptional customer service and follow-up.
• Assist clients in selecting artwork to complement their homes or offices.
• Maintain detailed client records, including preferences and milestones, to support future sales.
• Provide superior after-sale service to ensure lasting client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Gallery Director and Marketing team to execute gallery events and special shows.
• Participate in community and networking events to expand brand presence.
• Maintain gallery cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Support overall gallery operations and ownership as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience , preferably in luxury industries (fine art, jewelry, design, etc.).
• Proven ability to close sales and build strong client relationships.
• Outgoing, engaging personality with an eye for fine art.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Travel: Up to 10% for events and shows.
